The Austrian Physical Society has invited the Austrian research groups working in the area of physics to present themselves and their results by way of a standardized questionnaire. The results of this survey are publicly accessible on this and the following pages.
We plan to update this presentation of physics research in Austria on a regular base, and cordially invite groups that are not yet represented here to join this survey. (In this case, we ask for a mail message of the head of the research group to the OePG administration.)
The initially displayed complete list of all research groups in the area of physics may be focused by a restriction to a certain research area, a field of work (according to the Austrian System of Science Areas), an institution (e.g., a university), or by a search for particular contents. The group names in the subsequent list are links that lead to pages with detailled information on each group.
Please note that there is only one language version of the data obtained in the survey. Depending on the entries made by the group head, they will be mostly in German but partly also in English. We apologize for all inconveniences caused by that fact!
